The Portuguese Authority for Working Conditions expressed their interest to translate Stoffenmanager® in Portuguese and together with the University of Aveiro invited Cosanta to provide an introduction of Stoffenmanager® during the European Seminar “Chemical Risk Assessment - REACH and CLP”, 27-28 November in Aveiro, Portugal.
Our colleagues Erika Ustailieva and Koen Verbist have presented Stoffenmanager® to a full house of 250 participants from the Portuguese industry, labour inspectorate and other authorities, academia, European Commission and ECHA. How is Stoffenmanager® positioned within the EU legal framework? What is it to develop and maintain a smart chemical management platform? Is this possible without a dedicated organisation and a sustainable business model? And how is Stoffenmanager® being implemented in companies and countries? These were only some of the questions discussed at the seminar.
The following two workshops on “Smart chemicals management with Stoffenmanager®” were highly appreciated by the attendees who thanked us for the “efforts to bring to life such a pleasant event that contributed so much to the professionals of chemical industry of the northern side of Portugal...”. We on our side would like to thank the Portuguese Authority for Working Conditions and the University of Aveiro for the invitation and the great organisation.
